Learn to knit!
In a pair of classes, you will learn how to cast on, knit, purl, and bind off. Make a pair of cotton dishcloths, and begin your jouney as a new knitter now! This is a great class to refresh old skills, or to take with a friend.

If you can knit and purl, you can knit yourself a sweater! This seamless, top-down raglan is a great way to start making garments, plus try your hand at simple pattern modifications too! You can use almost any worsted or chunky weight yarn from Knots for your project. Stripes, angora, or tweed, it's your choice! Learn how to follow a pattern, check gauge, determine sizing, change sleeves or closure styles, and pick up stitches.

Time to get out those hooks and create a masterpiece! If you have a bit of basic crochet knowledge, you can take this class and learn how to read a crochet pattern, work medallions in the round, and join your work as you go. This awesome pattern, hooked with Spud & Chloe Sweater, can be made in any size from a lap afghan through a queen bedspread. Join us!

Let's have fun with our socks! Use any sock yarn from Knots to knit these ribbed, stretchy, toe-up socks. Intermediate and advanced knitters will learn a magic cast-on for toe-up knitting, special loose bind-off techniques, and how to knit an afterthought heel.

Knots is hosting a Knitting Workshop every Saturday morning from 10 to 12. We will help you through every step of making a sweater, a pair of socks, or any other project, whether it be your first time or just a special challenge. Knit at your own pace, and just come on the weeks when you need help. There is no need to pre-register for this class.

You can sign up for class by calling or emailing the shop, but your space will not be reserved until you have paid your class fee. After that, if you need to cancel, you will only be able to get a refund of your class fee if you cancel two weeks or more before the class begins. This helps us schedule more classes for you, and ensures that people are not turned away from a class when there is room! Thank you.
Come in any time for help with your project, or schedule a private lesson by calling the shop. Private lessons are $20 per hour per student, and can be for one to six students.
Sit and knit anytime, make your own group, or come to our established groups: Tuesdays 10 to 4, Wednesdays 10 to 4, or Fridays 5 to 8.
