Inspired to Knit by Michele Rose Orne will inspire YOU to knit with a range of gorgeous projects, from
sweaters and shrugs to tanks and coats. If you're thinking about learning how to spin, check out Start
Spinning by Maggie Casey. We have also started to carry Spinoff magazine from Interweave Press,
beginning with the current Summer issue. Next time you stop in, also be sure to check our the new
patterns from Figheadh Yarnworks, Knitting Pure and Simple, and Dolce Handknits.
Sock and Sweater Workshop:
Kate is hosting a Sock and Sweater Workshop class every Saturday morning from 10 to 12. She will
help you through every step of making a sweater or a pair of socks, whether it be your first time or just a special challenge.
Knit at your own pace, and just come on the weeks when you need help. The workshop will cost $10 for each session that
you attend. There is no need to pre-resgister for this class.

First Thursdays Knitting Book Club:
Once a month, our book club meets at the shop to knit while we discuss our latest book selection.
Read the book and join us at our next meeting! Bring any suggestions for future books with you as well.
Thursday nights, 6 to 9 pm.

August 7: the book is to be determined
We are open every Thursday until 9 pm! If we're not having a book
club meeting (usually the first week of each month), bring your project for Knit Night from 6 to 9!
